Pineappple Plantation Beautiful Place To Call Home............

WARNING ! Coyotes are again being seen throughout the County and communities in and around Pineapple Plantation. Keep a close watch on children and pets. Due in part to the extremely hot weather, there have been sightings of Rattle Snakes seeking shade and cool surroundings. Please keep doors and access points closed when not in use.

PONDS: The ponds at Pineapple Plantation, The Pines and Windemere are a resource to the community. They cool the air and areas near them. They store and provide needed irrigation water for our homes and common areas.

At this time of year the ponds become very fragile with high temperatures and breezes making them prime breeding grounds for Algea. In the slow moving waters, a bloom can happen almost overnight.

The County and State have called a halt to the use of high-phosphorus fertilizer from June to October.

If you are using this type of fertilizer, please stop and give the ponds a break.
